RE: Hummer Code

auria -> RE: Hummer Code (7/22/2006 6:29:02 PM)

There does seem to be some kind of code, I get the same waves and nods from both H2 drivers as H3 drivers........it is kind of nice to be that way because we must all love our hummers.

I wave at every H2 or H3 I see and have yet to have anyone wave back.[:(]

Linus Gump -> RE: Hummer Code (7/23/2006 12:07:49 AM)

Next time try waving all of your fingers.[:D][:D][:D] (J/K)[:D][:D]

I always wave, sometimes I catch myself waving when I'm in my semi, and then they look at me like I'm some kind of nut job.

I get about a 50/50 mix of fellow HUMMER owners waving back..H3 folks are real stuck up pricks in my area, more so than the H2 folks..How weird is that?[sm=dontgetit.gif]

Oh BTW...[sm=hiya.gif]

maybe it's just something in the water where you live. [sm=alien.gif]

people that buy H2s are the coolest on the planet, even though we're single handedly destroying it. i wave back if i see someone wave, but during all the freeway shootings in southern cal a decade and a half ago, i stopped paying attention to other drivers. looking at someone could get you shot back then. now i only admire convertible cleavage at stop lights.

see, there are plus's to H2s sitting up so high!

Misster -> RE: Hummer Code (7/24/2006 8:37:51 AM)

I always give a thumb up to fellow H2:ers !
So far I've got a thumb back twice - not many here knows about the code...

blackstangs281 -> RE: Hummer Code (7/24/2006 6:36:51 PM)

It should be posted in the owners manual.[:D]

angelH3 -> RE: Hummer Code (7/25/2006 1:10:41 PM)

Didn't know about an official wave. Someone mentioned holding up 2 fingers from the left hand and using a finger from the right to make an H. I'll give a friendly wave but I like to keep at least one hand on the wheel. Generally I'll wave at another Hummer. Usually they don't even look. If they do then they look at me like I'm a mad woman. And yeah. I ride a Harley too. And I generally wave to others on 2 wheels when I'm riding.

Seatbelts do wonders for eccentuating female endowment as well.

skeeet -> RE: Hummer Code (8/10/2006 12:29:52 AM)

I do not get any waves in my H3 here in Prescott but I did get one finger and a thumbs down. I remember when I got my first Corvette (a 59) and EVERY Corvette that passed waved. At first I thought they knew me which was unlikely since I was in a strange city going to school. I figured it out on the third wave. Most Vette owners still wave when I drive the Z.

otis -> RE: Hummer Code (8/10/2006 10:09:27 AM)

I got my first wave the other day from a fellow H2 owner. I was in such shock that i dont think i waved back. He probably thinks i'm a pr!ck....
