Over the past week or so, when driving, I hear what sounds like leaf buzzing around the left front. Its sporatic and happens when I give it gas and also when I am coasting. I thought at first it had something to do with the Cold air intake but thats on the other side of the engine bay and this seems like its just outside the winsheild. Opened the hood but nothing visibal there. Usually I am going 35MPH or better to hear it.

Any thoughts?

what kind of condition is your battery cover in? mine started coming apart from the caustic mud, so i tossed what was left of it. other than that, perhaps it's leaves trapped under the fake intake bubble right in front of your windshield. never heard anything like that before, so not sure where else to tell you to look.

Front end issue? Tell me about it.

I had the same problem. Sounds like a fan belt problem and it got louder as I accelerated.
9 bolts holding the manifold broke off at the ends and had to be machined out. No one taking any responsiblility. I hope the Hummer dealerships were not built with the same bolts they use in their engines.

Great, I'm having that same issue Reggie. Noticed it first today. By any chance do you recall the financial impact of having it fixed?

Mine does not get louder when I go faster. It sounds the same at 70 MPH.

I may swing by the dealer and have them look at it. This is very annoying.

Hey Zyne.. I got the front end broken bolts taken care of $24.00 in parts and $850.00 in labor. Now my steering has locked up and my brakes don't work.

Any thoughts on this one?
