I also just put on a K&N cold air Intake kit..along with the Gibson Exhaust..I noted a modest inprovement in performance and acceleration...

I want to get the Volant Hummer H3 Cool Air Intake System it's the box style that goes into the fender

Cool..I looked into those Volants, but the price was overprice for what the benifit would give..The K&N I got was only $217.00 out the door.

It does the same as the kn but will not get wet if going in water if you look at the pic you see the side is open and goes into the fender and bring the air in that way it goes to the top vent on the driverside

Yes..I can see that and Yes that would be a good idea if you plan on fording any water that deep..Myself, I'm keeping it as clean as possible for the life of ownership and will never if possible, take it off road...I know I'm anal about my cars, with keeping them pristine..On other forums, I'm known as Mr. Clean!!..Sorry, it's Just me

I know, I know, that's what they are made to do..But I am a chickensh!t when it comes to roughing it up..
I'll just be the posterchild for the cleanest H3 on the forum..how's that?

i guess clean is ok. not much fun, but ok. but you could play in snow, it's clean . . .

Absolutely..If it would ever snow enough to stick that is..I waited 4 years for snow to try out my Land Rover..Damned if only snowed 4 inches spread over 4 years..

we had 10" come down between the time we left the paved road and when we came back. now i know why the donners got stuck and ate each other . . .

I am interested in getting the same set up for my H3. What results did you get on yours; sound, HP, MPG, etc?
