Wudup guys?

I've been reading these forums for over a month now. I ordered a black H3 adventure 5 weeks ago. Tuesday I got an email from the dealer in Grapevine, TX, who shall remain semi-anonymous, saying that they haven't even built it yet, and that he didn't know when it would be delivered. I was pissed, since he told me it would only take 4 or 5 weeks originally.

So I called Sewell Hummer of Dallas on Wednesday. I only wanted the Adventure. But all they had was the Luxury, with the Adventure pkg already on it. I thought about it for a night. Thursday, after work, I went over there and pulled the trigger. It was too nice to pass up. Plus the GMS dicount paid for the leather that I didn't want originally, and for the off road lights up top.

I'm takin him back in to the dealer today to get detailed, have the tint put on the driver's and passenger's side front windows, and some other finishing touches.

I'm glad to finally be an owner. But I didn't wanna post until I was one for sure.

Look forward to talkin with all of yall and maybe goin wheelin or huntin sometime.

I should've known...I've been reading the hosings some guys get for providing a lack of new Hummer porn...

By the way, in the 4 or 5 weeks I've been reading these forums, I wonder how many billable hours I've spent reading about PCMs and XFER cases instead of designing web sites like a good employee...

As usual I have made an ass out of myself. It says RIGHT THERE "designing web sites" but NOOOO as usual the 12345123 things at once syndrom has kicked in today and I have no time for anything.

Nope. Not an attorney. (But I've worked for some.)

I'm a graphic designer by day and a musician by night. If yall like real music like the Allman Brothers, Neil Young, and old blues styled stuff, you should listen to some live performances of my last band, The Peach Truck Republic. We "toured" on the weekends from San Antonio up to Stillwater. Here's a good live show: Oklahoma City, and another: Jackson, MS.

Here are some crappy camera phone pics:
