My son took some pretty cool pics of my truck, but I don''t know how to post them in the tread any other way than to have  link, so here goes, these were taken Thursday night using moon light and some street light, as a kid I worked in the factury in the background making foremarm crutches, at 16 you never think you''ll need them, now they are one my few ways of getting around, with any luck I can get a set of Hummer crutches made ;) JK

my son thinks the truck looks industrial looking, so he wanted to go somewhere with a machine look to it, this is some of what we got, also he took a shot using the rule of three that i thought I looked cool, so if anyone is a camer buff, and a Hummer Buff you might like these.

also if anmyone can tell me how to get the pic in the thread as aposed to a link to the pic let me know

Thanks my son just got into digital photography, he took photography in high school, but with digital you can do tons of cool stuff, this was all done without flash just using the moon and some street lights, one thing I did to brighten one was to take one as my background, and a second as the foreground, brightening the background as much as I could without washing it out, then taking the original and making it transparent to a degree, lightly changing it until it looked just right. So hopefully it still looks cool, the one in front of the crutch factory was the one my son liked the least in fact he tossed it out, I kept playing with it focusing mainly on the rims and tire, figuring when I can see the rim and tore the best everything else will just fall into place, it looks cool to me, he took about 50 pics and gave me 9 so he tosses much more than he should. He has to learn not to be so hard on himself. thanks for looking I am sue he''ll be glad to hear someone liked them

Here are several more he took, some look the same as others just wider shots or other slieght changes. give me idea of what he is doing right, and or what he is doing wrong, I know on the one at the end of the dead end street, the light all looks good to me, except the light coming from the mirror, we should have looked for that, I say we because i was with him, and shold have pointed it out to him, other than thta I like the oranges, and purples found in natural lights around us, as natural as street lights can be on a rainy night

Egad, I have created a monster!

Cool pics.   Try doing them one wide, one on top of the other.  Even with my wide screen, I still gotta scroll.
