I''ve been eyeballing the predator raptorq ECM. Looks tempting. Only a few hundred bucks for triple digit HP and torque gains.

Does anyone have any experience with that product and can give actual performance experience or any reliability issues secondary to using this product?

The 6.5TD could stand some increase in output, but if that causes failures, I''ll be content as is.

I know a few guys who have it.... but all of them have other mods to their trucks, so its hard to say just how much the improvement of the ECM is.... I have never heard of the ECM that predator sells causing problems.... I have heard that their tech support is pretty good....

Was Also thinking of getting One of these AFTER my Volant Intake & Volant CatBack Exhaust...Bought One for a 07 PT Turbo Cruiser Once from Hayes Performance and OMG did my PT come to life...about 40 more HP on the PT...But what I like about Hayes,,,No Core Charge and YOU keep your stock PCM...It do it by your VIN number and You Plug N Go
Just my 2 cents

Are there any forms of engine management for the 6.5td that allows you to tune the truck? Or are they all canned maps?

Nick, Get ahold of beastmaster Steve on the HML.  He has done the most "fooling" around with that sort of stuff recently.... He has also written up an article on boost foolers for the turbo.....
