Hey - New guy here.  I recently bought a 2006 H2 SUV.  I rented a trailer to move out of my house, and ended up having to remove my spare tire on the outside b/c the trailer was pulled in too close to the rear of my H2.  Do you have to put an extension on your trailer hitch?  What''s the best solution?  Getting the spare tire back on by myself was a PITA!!

Yes you need an extension and a drop-down as the hummer hitch is 24" hiogh.

Harbor freight has just the item. I have one and it worksfine.

I bought a 10" drop alumistinger for mine. I tow my boat and sometimes a motorcycle trailer with my tire on the rear and it works perfect.  The Alumistinger was around $80 I bought it on Ebay. It is American made and very strong. 10.000lbs I think.
