hi everyone
first off what a awesome site.i just bought my first h2 2003 sunset orange with 22" zink chrome rims.58k miles.i took it to my local hummer dealership for a check up and this is what they come up with.told me the hummer most like sat for awhile since there was alot of rust underneath.they told me i should replace the following
1.heat shileds on manifolds are rusted.
2.trans coolor line leaking
3.oil cooloer line leaking.
4.front axle seal leaking.
all leaks they told me are very very minor but should be replaced.
5.the last thing was cigratte lighter blows fuses.told me it would be a few hours trouble shooting.i was hoping to fix this myself.
they told me repairs would be about 1500.00.
i just wanted to get some advice on what you guys think.hummer is in really good shape paint is awesome, interior is in excellent condition.22" zink chrome rims and tires where just put on brand newthey gave me the recipt 3900.they also threw in the orginal rims with brand new tires so i would have winter tires.i paid 24k.i bought it at a local dealership in new hampshire.

I would clean all the leaking areas and then see how bad it leaks. Maybe it''s 5 years of accumlation and there is no need to replace the seals. I also do not understand why a rusty heat shield needs replaced.  $1500 seems high to me. The oil and trans cooler lines should be replaced. I have seen some GM oil cooler lines blow off and that is not something you need.
