Does anyone sell the chrome front end piece that Vader has on his rig? I think it''s for an Alpha, and I love the look but can''t find anyone that sells it or if it would even fit right on a base H3.

That a GM O.E.M. lower grill with off road lights.  I''ve also seen them on eBay.

The piece I''m looking for is the bigger chrome front piece that has the two vertical pieces that connect to the tow hooks. I guess it''s basically the whole front end.

That''s the H3X Brush guard.  OEM piece. WWW.GMPARTSDIRECT.COM would have them.

Thanks! Do you have any idea how that installs on my current chrome grille? I can''t find any pictures of it off the truck, so I don''t know if it completely replaces my grille or goes over the top of it.

It bolts in front of the grill using the same bolts holding the tow hooks.

Thanks for the info! I stopped at my dealer and saw one installed and it makes sense now. Has anyone seen one of these installed on a truck with the chrome grille? I''ve only seen them on painted grilles and I''m afraid it''ll be chrome overkill if I install this chrome grille guard on top of the chrome grille.

Motley I agree if you put chrome on chrome it would be chrome hell, while some like chrome I don''t but there is too much of a good a thing, I like the black, but too much black looks silly, everything in moderation, enough of that though, if you want to see how it would look consider taking snap shot of your truck and a snap shot of Vadar''s truck, then use a picture publisher, photoshop, corel draw etc to put it together free, I tried black rims on mine because that''s what i''mlooking for, it looks great to me, so to save money over trial and error, get a decent degital camera, and nice software program to mod before you mod.

good luck

Ken

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit..............

Really the craftsmanship looks great!!!!!!!!!   I guess I just like the stock look better (for my preference).  But if you like it that is all that counts.  If it were me I would like to try putting that stainless mesh material behind the vent openings and make it look like a v-series cadillac grill but still maintain the stock hummer style.
