I had all intensions of testing and buying an H3. Yesterday I test drove a new H3. Very nice. I guess Hummer isn't making "the Superior Blue" color they advertsied yet. I was dissapointed. I was looking around the lot and was very impressed with the H2 looks but was a bit of money for me. For the hell of it I test drove a new H2. Holy Sh**!!! There is no comparison between the H3 and H2. Excellent disount with the "employee price." The H2 has so much more power and is far more comfortable. I couldn't believe how much I loved the H2. After returning from my test drive I talked to the sales man about some financeing numbers. I was so thrilled I bought the H2. Its a bit oiver budget for me but we will swing it and I know I will enjoy it lots more than any other SUV we have driven. What an amazing vehicle!! Very impressive. Financeing will hopefully go through tommorrw and Im going to pick it up Tuesday!!

dude, way to go. what part of the country are you in? do you plan on using it offroad? it's a lot of money to think about taking it out and getting it scratched, but after the first time, you'll be ok after that. i had some sumbeeyatch key mine within a week of getting it, didn't even get to put the first scratch on it. hopefully the new ones are a bit more reliable, but the warranty covers everything for a while. bought mine used w/28k miles, so far replaced both front hubs, front differential, shift handle/lock mechanism and A/C compressor under warranty/extended warranty. might be pricy right now, but i'd recommend an extended warranty when you get close to 30k. still, i don't regret it, it totes the camper and is a blast off the pavement. good luck, hope you enjoy the new ride.

i like the H2 because of the brute bulkiness of it..the H3 is a bit too carved for me...i like a nice stout looking SUV!

Picking it up tommorow!!! I Live in NH. Ive never been off roading but I'm going to look into it. Maybe just some trail riding. I just emailed the New England Hummer club. Hopefully they can help me out. I'm sure here in NH there are some cool trails. I'm big into car detailing and just keeping things looking sharp!! I still can't believe how comfortable the interior is.......very nice. I can't wait till tomorrow.

I doubt we'll be wheeling together much, unless you drive to the other coast, but it's definitely worth taking off road. clean and pretty is nice, but they look pretty darn cool covered in mud. out here, there are only 2 of us that I know of that take them off the street, and they get a lot more looks covered in mud than clean and shiny. have fun, and post up your thoughts as you get more used to it on a daily basis. congrats.

I like to watch those H2 off-roading videos and see what an H2 is capable of, but I wouldn't dream of taking my own H2 off-roading. I don't even drive it when it rains;don't like it getting splashed. I like to keep my H2 immaculate. But that's just me. Hey, and congrats on your new H2.

please tell me you're kidding . . . . [image][/image]saw a guy at the dealership yesterday, getting ready to drive off in his new pewter 05. when i said "looks like time to go get it dirty" i thought he was going to puke. i was sad. the other forum has pics of h1s and h2s running over a taurus and toyota wagon. 2 h2s took part, one got stuck, the other ripped off part of his rear bumper. at least they played, that was the cool part. took a lot of crap from the h1 owners i bet.
