The ride could just be dictated by tire pressure. I run at 36 psi and its a heck of a lot more jarring than 30 psi. Could be different tires as well, especially if you''ve replaced yours. I''ve got an 3.7L but an 07, not 08, and I don''t have any jerky acceleration. (Only jerk is on the inside ). Maybe just bad example. Hey, if your 06 was better than this 08, I''d simply go home happy knowing that I had it good.

Absolutely, I am very happy with mine. I was just wondering because My wife now wants one of her own. The acceleration seemed to hesitate when you stepped on it from the line. Mine as soon as I stem pn the gas it goes, but this one had a little delay. Overall it was still a hummer and I would definatelly get another one any day, I was just wondering if this was normal or if it was just this one. Believe me, I could never let something as little as the things I noticed with the rental keep me from getting another hummer...
