I have "ICED" my rig once in the 4 months that I've had it, now yesterday I got it back from the dealer with no problem found AGAIN!! but anyways they washed it!! I didn't want them to, but they did. Do you guys think that it stripped off the polish? I planned on doing it again before it get too cold anyways. But was just wondering.

They maybe using strong detergents at the dealer..So it wouldn't hurt to give it another good coat before winter sets in...As I've said, I like the ease of using ICE, it's brilliant, especially on the plastic trim pieces, but I think it don't hold up long as like Meguire's NXT..I put NXT on for the winter and keep sprucing it up with the ICE detailer.

do yourself a favor and buy a porter cable random orbital... does a great job of waxing flat surfaces (i.e. made for our rigs!) here is a link to what I bought: http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?&SKU=10925
griots has alot of stuff, but it is overpriced IMO even though their product is very good. they have a bunch of different pads for polishing (can remove swirl marks) waxing, buffing, etc.. I LOVE their claybar, its about twice the size as normal clay bars and does a really good job of getting any contaminants in your wax out
