Hi gang,

I''m brand new to the forum.  I just bought my wife a 99 ragtop H1 for running around the TX coast.  We have a special place in our hearts for those that serve so we''re going to turn this truck into a reminder about those that stand in harms way.  Besides some magnetic signs honoring America''s finest, we''ll mount a 50 cal (replica).  This truck will go topless most of the time so the plan is to mount the 50 on one of the rear 45 degree roll bars.

Does anybody have ANY ideas about how to build a mount for this thing without breaking the bank?

Thanks for your brains and glad to be aboard....

Duck tape, piece of chicken wire, gorilla glue, two Arby''s drink straws, tooth pick, and hubba bubba buble gum heated to 104.5 degrees.

Oh, that was McGiver''s recipe for a dart gun???

The rear light bar mount by Predator would be perfect for mounting something like this on and would be easy to take off as well. The actual mount, as 3hummers suggested, Shotgun News does have several sources like Numrich and others that sell these sort of items, including replicas. The real things are very $$. You can also find non firing replicas of the actual weapon in there as well.
