The engine in my 1998 H1 died out of a sudden  today, and wouldn''t start again. After approximately half an hour of fruitless research, I was allowed to start it, and went on for another 15 minutes before it died again. And now I''m out of battery...
Any idea what might be wrong?

My suspision is: Fuel filter, Fuel lift pump, Fuel pump or any Engine computer. Heard that there is a fuel computer that is cooled by the fuel overflow/return to fueltank.

Hope it''s an easy fix as I''m still on the roadside trying to get home.

Your problem is going to be finding one at this hour. You can trying cooling it off with ice or cold water and that will work for awhile. Has it done this before?

I was trying to post the install instructions but the damn site won''t let me. Go to www.flashoffroad.com and there will be detailed instructions on how to change the PMD. Sorry I couldn''t post it for you but this site is broken.

Hi!

I replaced the lift pump, and the engine runs ok.
It seems like a failing lift pump caused insufficient cooling to the Fuel Solenoide Driver.

Hepp!

Glad you are back in action again. Since you were on the side of the road how long did it take you to find the parts, etc to get rolling again?
