My lease is up next year and I hoped to gain the same thing.

We are going to buy out our lease in the spring and sell it. I''m hoping to negotiate a buyout as well. Our needs have changed and unfortunately it means getting rid of our H3.

You should call and check the current buy out on your lease. I have a 06 gmc sierra that on the contract says the buy out at the end of the lease will be 23k but i just called with 6 months of payments left and they said it is currently 17k. Your buy out might already be lower like mine is.

I heard on the news, maybe yesterday, that GM Chrysler and Ford will be making "deals" with lease customers when the term ends. What that means, I didn''t really hear, but it seems that we, lease people, are in a good position to negotiate out a good deal.

You should be able to steal any SUV lease from the big three. Depending on price could be a great deal. Also might let it go and see what you can work out on a new 08 with 100K warranty.

Thanks for the info guys. Getting rid of the H3 personally has absolutely nothing to do with gas prices for us. We want to save up so we can put some money away to have kids in the next 2 or 3 years. We aren''t driving the H3 anymore to keep it under 60k and in the great condition it''s in, hopefully make a few bucks off of it when we do sell it. Also, get rid of these rediculously high payments (at least for me).

Well my H3 is no more. I went by the GMC dealer and they made me an offer I could not refuse. With all the incentives and generous trade in options, I ended up driving out of the dealer with an 08'' GMC Denali. Not exactly a Hummer, but damn is it niice. And for 10K more out of my pocket? Couldn''t leave it alone. Just have to go back to wheeling the 4Runner or the Jeep.
