Has anyone heard about or tried those hood scoops forward facing and windshield facing for the H1 for cooling I don''t really care for the look I am looking for functionality.  I think they are made by rubber duck maybe?

Predator sells one as does rubberduck. The duck also has the rear facing scoops you mentioned. As Travis explained it to me when he first offered them, the rear ones are great to let hot air out that would normally be trapped under the hood when the engine is shut off. In addition to that, air actually moves backward over the hood above certain speeds. The people I know with front scoops all say the truck runs a bit cooler. I have two rear scoops, I just haven''t got around to putting them on yet. I''m sure it will be stressful drilling holes in my hood.

I thought the concept of the rear facing scoops was to take the air deflecting off the windshield and bring it into the engine compartment.

I know what you mean about the drilling I would take it to a bodyshop let someone be liable for what they do.

from the folks that I talked to who have had them, none would recommend installing the forward facing ones anyhow as they didn''t really make a difference worth the effort / time....

I don''t know anyone but Travis who has the rear facing.... and I gotta imagine hes a bit biased....
