Go buy yourself a ScanGauge. This was the biggest help to me. I keep the MPG on the screen and keep a close eye on it. I found that my sweet-spot for MPG is about 63 MPH, but in town it is 43 (in fourth gear). Besides, This is a great way to add a water temp and volt meter along with a way to read fault codes from the computer. Well worth the money. Here is how they look installed in an H3: LINKY

cbetts, your sweet-spot is what I have found also. I''m getting amazing highway mileage keeping it 65 and under. All I have done is do the PCMforLess tune, the AirDoc air intake and switched my entire drivetrain to full synthetic. Just doing those things, I get 375 to 400 Miles per tank before I have to refill.

My job is almost 30 miles from home. My wife''s part-time job is 7 miles. Her car gets 25-26 mpg on my round trip to work and back. My H3 gets about 17. Guess what I drive to work 3 or 4 days a week?
