When you take the air filter box lid off you unknowingly do a trade. Yes you get more air, but it is warmer (except right after start up, and possibly in the winter). End result of more warmer air is nothing.

Cooler air makes a denser charge = more efficiency.

I run Mobil 1 5W-30, just like the manual says? Yep, I am boring.

Don''t laugh, but I''ve been reading about HHO gas (water4gas) anybody every tried this or heard about it? Seems pretty simple to install and they show 30%mpg increases.
