A couple of things I''''m having issues with; I''''ve had an ''''05 H2 SUT for about a year now and a few weeks ago started getting the "Service 4WD" indication on the instrument panel. I''''ve asked a few service techs about it and am getting different answers. One actually called it the "Money Light." Another said that it is nothing to worry about and still another said that it most likely a scheduled maintenence item that pops up when a pre-set mileage hits. I''''m sure this is a somewhat common issue and was wondering what others experienced and the results they had (costs, headaches, damage, etc.) and what to expect when I take it in for service.
Secondly, I''''ve heard of recalls for 2005 GM trucks and SUV''''s for the instrument clusters (more specifically Delphi electronics) but haven''''t been able to find anything online. Recently, I''''ve had the water temp and the battery voltage go haywire and don''''t know if this is a recall item since I''''m out of warranty. Anybody familiar with cluster recalls and what vehicles are covered? Thanks for your help!
