Ok, we have seen a ton of gas price talk and frankly I''m getting tired of hearing about it. But there really hasnt been a whole lot of professional opinion on where the prices will go or where they will level off, or perhaps come down a bit. I''ve created this poll just to see what most of you are thinking is going to happen over the next year. I know there are tons of variables, but with our current economy a so forth what would be your best guess as what is going to happen in about 1 years time.( Gas prices around next summer, 2009) I know thera quite a few well educated members on here and can give a good educated opinion. Feel free to eleborate more than he basic poll numbers.

Looks like the polls still aren''t working right. I am voting for around $3.80 per gal. I believe that the country really cant take much more increase. Businesses are going to shut down with the extra burden that they cant keep up with. I bet the prices may go up a touch come this heating season and then they will level off and decrease a bit come early spring. Thats my opinion which i have no basis for, maybe its just wishfull thinking!!

WHAT!! the polls are not working!!  LOL

I paid 4.60 Sunday, which is a great price here in the SF Bay area. My driving habits have not changed, nor will they.

I hope it drops back down, but when have you ever seen any rates go down after they get raised.

AAAAAAALLLL Depends. We got huge deposits of AMERICAN natural resource''s right here but we dont got the B*#@S to go get em. If a certain muslim get''s elected president, no way in he$# will that happen, hents price''s will rise. Also why are prices going up so fast now that the war is over? Shoud''nt we be seeing ALOT more crude coming our way about this time?

I just paid $3.99/gallon in Massachusetts today. That has to be about 30 cents cheaper than just a week or so ago.

There is no chance of a Muslim being elected president in the upcoming election.
Jomo K. Manual Williams is the only Muslim running and he''''s only on the ballot in one state.

I prefer to educate the ignorant rather than ignore them.
