I tried to vote, but since the poll is still down, I''ll say that I predict it will be between $4.00-$4.50/gal in 1 year.  I think it will pretty much stay the smae with a very slow rise.

Gas in my area is still at $3.89/gal.  Our household (2 HUMMER drivers) has not changed our driving pattern due to gas costs, and will have to see it rise considerably for us to change.  If it peaks, we can always drive one car to work and park the other.  However, it will have to get pretty high for the price to override convience.

Has anyone looked into http://mygallons.com/.  I guess you can pre-purchase gas now.  There is a membership fee...but wonder if it would be worth it??  I''m not sure how this can work.  My fear is I will fund it and they will go away in the middle of the night.  I would have no problem paying a years worth of gas up front if I could lock into $3.89/gallon.  Thoughts???

If McCain wins, I shall sell my Hummer and move to some country where people think and read and use their minds and know more than just soundbites they hear on Fox News.

My thoughts ....... it matters not, so long as there is still gas to buy.

To educate readers on my thoughts  (Steve #1 you had me LMAO) :    ....if gas was $2.00 a gallon and the stations selling it were sold out, can''t get it.  If the station across the street was $5.00 a gallon and you could fill up any day any time, I would be happy with $5.00/gal.    Get my drift?

davyo, I do not think you have to worry about moving.

If Barack Hussein Obama wins, he will confiscate my Hummer for the greater good and move me to some collective where people no longer think and read and use their minds and know less than just soundbites they hear on CNN.

Keep repeating, "From each according to their ability, to each according to their need" comrades!

We lived in Germany for 3 years, so these prices are what I was paying over there. I think $5 a gallon would affect me, but again the H3 is getting better milage than what I was getting/driving.

I have a buddy that owns a Sunoco here in NY. 94 octane is at roughly $4.60 a gallon. He states we will be over $5.00 by the end of the year, and he doesn''t see it going down any if at all. Cool....lol. Everytime I go get gas everyone looks at me like I lost my mind, wondering when I am going to conform......HA!

One way to solve this is to just buy a new H2, some dealers are offering a 2 year 10k per year 4 dollar gas card... or a gas card worth $8,000... not bad.
