Looks pretty cool.  Not so sure you really need it though?  How high off the ground is the stock Air Box on the H3.  I know in my H2 is over 4ft pretty close to 5ft. off the ground.  What I am getting at here is if you get into more than 4ft. of water in an h3 we all know its pretty much a "Flood Car" and the rest of the vehicle is destroyed.  What people need to realize is that you have vents on your transmission, xfer case and diffs.  Sure on an H1 these systems are sealed but on the 2''s and 3''s they are not.

I think if someone made a vent relocation kit for the H2''s and H3''s they could make a killing.  That way the vehicle could ford deeper water without destroying the rest of the vehicle.  The only reasons that the H2''s and H3''s cant go deeper than they do is because of the vents.

Hammer

All drive trains are vented.  Just like your engine has crankcase vent.  Your Trans and xfercase and diffs do to.  It allows Heat too escape and the system to breeth.  Check out the following linky

Well, don;t forget even if you route the vent tubes to higher locations, you''ll also have to seal in your electronics.  The H2 electronics are low as well as the H3.

You''d be hard pressed to make a custom box and connections to be 100% H2O proof.  ...although it would be a fun project.

Who''s in?

The door seals will give up the ghost long before you get water through your intake. Trust me. I buried mine up to the grill, and not a drop got in the airbox, but 4 inches of water got through the door seals. I''m sure everyone remembers my flooding incident. I have also had to replace the evaporative canister in fuel tank, replace all fluids (water in diffs) and have radiator cleaned (twice). Your intake is NOT the weak link in crossing large wet areas, unless you plan on upgrading the door seals first.

The H3 driveline vents are all in a sucky place.  Someday I''m going to plumb them all into a much higher position.  I don''t know how they can claim such a deep water fording depth when the vents are so low.

you can relocate the diff vents. I put the rear all the way up to the fuel door. but still, with the other electronics and door seals, you can do some damage going into deep water with the H3. It is a very cool looking snorkel, but if you read their write up, they talk about how it''s made for those who seriously modify thier H3''s. I wish they would update it to allow the stock antenna to be on there too.
