Ok guys, here''s another easy one for you....they always seem to be anyway. Been driving my H1 all day, actually all week, no problem. Just went to leave and it started but when I put it in reverse it stalled. After that I haven''t been able to start it again. Both tanks are full, I made sure it was in park. It will crank but wont start. Changed the PMD about 2 months ago as well as relocated it but either way the truck was cold when I tried to start it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

sounds like a fuel issue... maybe you need a new fuel pump? you can check if this is working by turning the key to on position but dont start it up and listen for it. Or you can open up the bleeder in your fuel filter and do the same thing and see if fuel comes out if it doesnt either you pump doesnt work or you need to bleed the system.

Do you hear the fuel pump when you turn the key on?  If not, have someone put their hand on it when you tur the key on and you should feel it vibrate.... If it does vibrate, then you likely have air in the system - possibly from a filter change or something....

always post the year and model of your truck when posting a question such as this.....

The fuel pump is not the problem. I turned the nob on top of the filter, turned the key and fuel started to flow out. Whats your opinion?

are your glow plugs working?

you can prime the system (key on wait light etc) and then have someone else push in the schrader valve on the a/c compressor (small gray box with two hoses going to it) and wait for fuel to come out.  When fuel comes out, you should get it to crank right up - if its a fuel problem.

Otherwise, you need to see if your fuel shut-off solenoid is working.... its the tall cylinder on the injection pump.  They do go bad....
