Wild H2 theft from Denver Dealer

teebox -> Wild H2 theft from Denver Dealer (6/24/2008 3:12:40 PM)

Last Sunday night the MedVed Hummer dealer in Castle Rock ( S. Denver ) had a brazen smash & grab of two H2''s. per the Fox News station www.myfoxcolorado.com. Thiefs crashed a stolen car through the big showroom window and into the showroom. They then got two H2"s started and crashed them through another window to exit. Cops found both H2"s only about 2 miles away.  No arrest yet. You think this was some Hummer hate crime enviro-whackos ??? If so it wouldnt be the first around Denver. Several Hummers parked overnight outside in a posh area were torched a couple years ago. Three convictions, in prison. I hope they have made a few Hummer vanity license plates.

What is wrong with people?  What does this possibly accomplish if you are a HUMMER hater?  I say if they get caught we all send them daily post cards with pictures of our HUMMERS to keep them company while sitting in a cell!  [image]http://www.hummerforums.com/micons/m11.gif[/image]

One who owns 2-3 hummers.

If a person vandalizes a Hummer, is it considered a hate crime? If our Hummer was vandalized I would go to great lengths to prove it to be. Hate crimes have harsher sentences and rightfully so. ANY crime of hate has been proved to be from a sick mind.

It was probably just simple car theifs that realized 2 miles down the road that the hummer had onstar so they got paranoid and dumped the hummers.

I am sure that''s all this was as they also took 5 other cars the same nite. From the video, it sounds like they were just out for joy rides, as they didn''t seem to keep any of the cars they took. They kept trading up sort of speak.

Any car thief worth anything will have onstar deactivated in under 3 seconds.

Eh if they were trading up, they would have stopped there instead of trying for a Ford. heheheh[8D]
