I own a 2007 H2 and the engine has started ticking. I think it is coming from the top end around the injectors or plugs. Anyone experiencing anything similar?

Isn''t it still under warranty? Even if you bought it used, the warranty is transferable. 5 yrs 50,000 miles bumper to bumper, and 100,000 drive train. Call Hummer GM at 866-486-6376

Yea, it''s still under warranty. It has 30k on it. The real bit*h is when you pay 80k for a Glacier Blue Special Edition and it needs warranty work, that doesn''t make me feel good about GM quality.

it sounds like a lifter which we have replaced a couple here and there. it is easy to diagnose with a tech 2 scanner. have the dealer do a power balance test which will tell them what cylinder it is on and they can replace the sticking lifter.
by the way i have been working on hummers for 15 years and work at a dealership that has a 98% fix it right and two world class techs. sometimes the mechanics are only as good as the support that the get from the vehicle manufactures. there is a lot of  times we can not fix the vehicles as we feel that we need to. GM pay''s the bills and we fix to their standards. i agree that not all techs are good and i would never hire any of them. the bottom line is i work for the customers.

Yea, I''m venting but I found the problem. It''s an exhaust leak coming from the left exhaust manifold. The rear bolt is missing and is creating a leak that goes away after it warms up. Wow, it''s amazing what you can learn with a little diligence.

Missing or broke off inside the block? Hope for missing. You may have to have the gasket replaced if it''s been awhile. I fought headders on a 454 for 5 years with bolts coming out or snaping off inside the block. Each time I had to replace the gaskets or it still leaked.
