Anyone ever experience a natural gas smell from their H2 after hard acceleration?

I think there are some topics on this. use the search function and you will probably find it there.

After doing a search I am inclined to think that the smell is a result of the differentials beeing flushed and new fluid being added.  I just want it to stop.

Never smelled grease or oil that had that scent. a leaking battery could have that smell. that has been talked about before on here. the smell you are describing is that of sulpher / rotton egg smell.

No, I know the rotten egg smell (as in bad cat converters).  To me it smells like natural gas, to my wife it smells like burning rubber or plastic.

I occasionally get a burnt rubber smell coming from around the inside of the rear wheel wells after normal driving. Drivetrain smell maybe? Maybe just the hot tires.

on some of the 03-05 h2''s had a rear cargo body seal that did not get sealed all the way from the factory. you mostly smell it if you roll down a window while driving or the a/c is on rec. and it draws air in from under the vehicle.
