So I was at the pearl jam concert in Jersey friday........ come out to find a nice key mark going down side of my truck............................. it''''s not like I said or did anything to anyone to piss them off besides owning a beautiful truck.... To top it all off on sunday when I came out of the movie theatres I catch some drunk asshole messing with my front plates on my truck. I chase the puzzy to his car where his girl is and he bolts away, in a lil **** honda.................... What alarm system do you guys use or recommend? paying 700 for respray every couple months is not fun......................

Man, that is absolute ****...I have "heard" good things about the viper alarms with the LCD remotes that you can monitor your car when away, but I have not actually used them. The problem is, even with alarms...if they want to do something, they will do it.

haha....very helpful! My daily carry is a XD40 with hydrashoks and I keep a glock 21 under the seat in the truck and a taurus pt92 in the glove box...Im just praying for the day i find some punk walking close to my truck with his keys out. One less vandel.

I have a viper and it pages me anytime my alarm goes off.  SO... You can get shock sensors, and the thingy where it alerts people to stay away when they get too close to your truck. (can''t remember exactly what the mod is called)  But the paging remote only works like up to a thousand feet or something like that.  So if your in a bar or restraunt your good.  If you at a concert and your truck is in the parking ramp... your pretty f''d.  You could try hiring a ninja to stand guard.....

nice to see gun friendly ppl here as well seems most car sites and guns go together! I have a glock 23 as well. I also have a .357 in a J frame and a .44 with the 8 inch barrel and S&W 40VE glock clone and a few rifles and shotguns.
