Even when it only had 4 miles on the dashboard, there was a faint rattle on the right front. Asked other riders if they hear it. No one hears it.
Has anyone else had this problem?

i've learned that Motorhead is best for eliminating annoying rattles and wind noise.

I think mines around the window or dash on the right its hard to tell now. Just went to the mountains and heard it the whole way. Let me know if you figure out the deal

I had a squeek on the front end of mine. It was typical of the sound a front suspension makes when the bushings need grease. After inspection, I learned that the front suspension has no provisions or grease fittings. No too crazy about that.

Anyway, I discovered that the noise was coming from the hood latch assembly. I applied a bit of grease to the latch and the hook on the hood, and the problem was solved.

I think I narrowed it down. I noticed the other day when it was very windy, seems to be in time with the wind. Now have to figure out what may be loose in the r/ front

I know it's been awhile since this was posted, but I was having a similar problem. I had the H3 in the dealership over 6 times. They heard it as well on test drives. Happened at highway speed on windy days.

The issue is the plastic moldings on either side of the windshield. The sun seems to warp them over time. Dealer switched them out and they were ok for alittle while and then it began again. I've contacted GM and they are aware of it, but that doesn't mean anything will be done. Looks like just a bad design, but the sound it annoying.

Check your front wheel well, during one of the off-road trips, I must have hit something that cracked that rubber-like trim in the wheel well. When going on the highways, the wind makes the thing flap a little that sounds like a rattle. Glued it back together since and no sound!

I noticed a while back i was getting a rattling/wind noise in the cabin.  Took it to the dealer they claim to have fixed it...  of course it was way worse and I realized that driving it out of the dealership.  My repair worked awesome,  I took the interior/cabin light down and placed 4 squares of material as far back, foward, left and right of the opening (the light was in).   The material I used was from an old foam bed liner (ie; memory foam, egg crate style stuff).  It worked awesome noice reduced by 98% no problems since.  The only noise I still have is when travelling upwards of 70mph.  That noise is coming from the molding around the driver's seat belt.  The sound is the two pieces of plastic molding rubbing togethor, one day in the near future I plan on taking it apart and seeing whats causing this and fixing it.

The best way to find the source of the noise is to get someone who cares as much about the problem as you and have them ride shotgun while you drive and have them locate the problem.

Not sure if I have your problem or another one. I've had it in the shop a half dozen times as well. At low RPM when I hit 10 to 15 miles per hour I get a short vibrating sound. I can sustain it if I keep at that speed but seems to go away after I've driven for a bit. The noise seems to be coming from the right hand side of the dash. Mine is a 2006 H3. Any help would be appreciated. I go crazy for rattles and vibrations and I've had this one for two years. Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem and it was really annoying when driving the car in highways in windy days. Anyways, I took it to the dealership and as grosen said, the problem was the plastic moldings in the upper corners. They didn''t change them for me, they just filled the gaps with black silicon to stop the the air from going through them and making the annoying wind sounds.
