Either will do what you want. I have a Garmin Street Pilot 2610 and my son has a Garmin Nuvi 250W. I just like Garmin. You just need to go to bestbuy.com or something and click COMPARE on the 2 or 3 you think you like and research it like that. My niece has a TomTom and is fine with it though.

I have the Garmin Nuvi 660, it has Bluetooth, MP3 player, picture viewer, Audio Book reader, it''s talks to you, shows closest food, fuel, hotel, etc. and has other features. They just came out with a new model that can understand what you say to it. I do know that the Garmin that I have has all the trails that we drove on down in Wharton State Forest, not sure how many have that much detail.
