Thanks a lot I´m going to grab a beer and a chair and sit in front of it, to celebrate that I still don´t believe that I have it in my parking. Cheers to the ones who want to join me in the celebration.

If you come around here tell me. I´m living in Punta Cana and there is some challenge really good roads to try, and It is going to be nice to share a madness with somebody Next week I´ll try something like a "donkey path" that I went on bike once finishig at a great beach. I have a winch so in anyway I´ll get out for sure. I´ll Send you some pics, but remember I´m absolutely new in this area , and for sure I´ll be really !wow! about what I´ve done, I´m not so sure that you will be so impressed, je, je... after the pics I´ve seen around. Anyway if you can post some of your pics off roading just, in order to warm up my brain. OK Friends, have a nice weekend from Dominican Republic.

with that milage and hour reading, the guy must have driven like a turtle. Thats only approx. 28 mph for every hour the engine ran, and would be less if you factored in idling. You may need to go to a big road and blow the soot out of it. Good looking truck. Rememeber to test the winch before you need to depend on it to get out of a bad spot. Doesn''t sound like the previous owner ever tightened the cable up on the drum. Isn''t the older Toyota FJ poular down there? I restored one many years ago and thought I remember seeing pictures of them plowing along through the back roads.

you''re right. The previous owner, a good friend of mine, spent more hours sit on the front, staring and contemplating that beauty than sitting inside of it. Just a little thing about how he took care of it, he changed oil and filters every 1000 miles in order to keep the sound of the engine in good "high end" sound. And it really sounds like a symphony. I can assure you, was not an easy matter to get him convinced in selling it. At last I promised him to never sell it to anyone else, but him (impossible, it''s mine). Je, je, je... about the oldie Fj, there is some of them around working as first day, that''s a worderfull truck to respect in the forests around. Goes thought anywhere. I saw something you''d like it too: an Unimog, wow... That''s something for going to the supermarket with. Thanks for the advice. I''ll check the winch. It looks like has never been pull out and I prefer to know if works before needing it for real. Well, best wishes of happiness with our little crazy purist way to live
