So is it true?
Everywhere i go people are telling me thye closed all the Hummer factories...
Anyone know whta the real scoop is??

They have not closed any Hummer factories. They have not even dropped any models. GM is doing a review which will probably result in some new models and dropping the H2. Worldwide sales of Hummer are doing very well.

Hummer is still alive and well. There are talks of it being sold, or restructured, but no, it''s not shut down. Do a little Googleing and you''ll find that Hummer sales are up in parts of the world. Anyone telling you that Hummer is shut down is simply misinformed or prone to great exaggeration.

I know they are closing a TRUCK factory up here in Canada, but I haven''t heard about HUMMER??

There''s still a market for Hummers, just not in the USA. Hummers are selling well in Venezuela and the Middle East.

Hummers really aren''t doing that bad here either. People believe they are because the news tells them that. Everyday I see more of them on the road.

H3s have been as common a sight as trailblazers and explorers (pretty common) for me, every now and then I see an H2 and they always stand out, no matter how many I see
