Firstly, Thanks in advance for any help. I tried a search to no a-do. a little back info- I have 1996 6.5TL wagon with about 130k miles. It was raining and I had my head lights and windshield wipers on. Now- I was driving to work when I noticed my tire pressure was a little low. So i switched on the CTIS only to have all the lights flicker and loose power steering. I immediately turned off the CTIS but by then was too late. I pulled over and inspected it and saw nothing out of the ordinary under the hood. Jumped back in to try and re-start it to no a-do. Put it in neutral in case it was the neutral bypass switch. Previous owner said it need adjusted and I''ve had a few issues with it that could be corrected by simply putting it in nuetral. No luck. Had someone come put a jump on and it started right up. few hours later I go out try to start it, of course it doesn''t start. I then cleaned up the battery cables, removed the previous owners "emergency shut off" switch on the battery terms- jumped it and got it home. Let it sit for almost 2 days went out to start it, glow plugs started to warm up then when I went to start it bam everything dies. for 2 days I had no interior lights when I opened a door, then I go out tonight and I have lights again. BTW- heres my initial post at humvee.net http://www.hummernetworkforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=214410 If anyone would be willing to by and take a look I''m on the west shore in Harrisburg PA. I''m only 19 with barely any mechanical knowledge, but I''d treat ya to lunch. And yes, I purchased this thing all on my own.
