Note to self: Do not eat or drink anything before reading any of Shorty"s posts..And have 911 keyed up, in case of saliva inhalation too.

Follow down from the front door handles and then get on you hands and knees and look underneath on both sides..

This is the driver's side

If only a minor adjustment is made to the t-bars, I really think you can skip doing an alignment. If you measure your H3 today, and again tomorrow (or after driving it) you'll find that the suspension is always adjusting through a range. Today it might measure 30" and the next it will be 31" ... or 29.. it's always changing. I adjusted the t-bars up in our old Tahoe about a 1/2 - 3/4" and never got an alignment, and two years later there was no negative or abnormal wear on the tires. If the adjustment is minor, then if there is any additional wear, it too, should be minor, and will take too long to provide any adverse effects. You're likely to need a new set before the "abnormal" wear ever shows. If it ever does.

My opinion is that the alignment would just be throwing money away. If major gains are abtained by the t-bars, then you're going to have much bigger problems than alignment issues anyway. You're going to have a crappy ride quality, and you'll be replacing CV's every couple of years or so.

I say adjust them within reason, and enjoy.

i was just pondering the spacer-vs-bolt crank issue for my 2.

I wonder if i can sub in other GM t8000 compatible kits or if i have to look for something H2 specific...?

I leveled my H3 when I put in the extra spare tire, 2 containers of 6 gallons of water, emergency food, tools, first aid kit, wood block so my jack will lift and clear the 35" tires, ammo and mainly wife's pocket book.

Well, I went ahead and turned up the t-bars today in the H3. I went 2 turns on each side. My hope is that it will eliminate some of the bump steer that we get in the hummer (it makes my wife a little nervous when she hits a washboard section of the road going through a curve). I also wanted to get the front end up just a tad. I wanted to use a re-indexing key, but I think I'm going to wait until someone besides some of these "fly by night" companies makes one. Right now I'm going to run it like this and see how it does. I can always turn them back to stock, or just a little more down, and I can get a re-indexing kit anytime too. So I guess it's sort of an evaluation process right now.
