Ya know, I couldn't remember what these were called and have been thinking about it for a week or so. You just reminded me. Thank you VERY much I wonder if they are really worth it though. I am tempted to buy them just to be the Guinnea Pig that tries them out.

I have found Bosch to be a good bang for the buck. The new IRs are $10.00 ea at advance auto. At 7000 miles, I got a long way to go before a plug change, but I do have to do the oil this week..................I think I'll attack the front skid plate with my grizzly buffer and tripoli, if I have time . I'm ordering the PCMfor less this week absotootly fer sher!!!!

There is not going to be any magic spark plug that gives you better mileage and/or more power correct? I'm assuming the only difference between plugs are the materials and how long they last.

I would say Using dynos at the GM Tech Center...............hope the general is not looking/listening......... when they first came out with those split fire and "u" grove plugs a ways back............if they made any power, the lab rats could not find it! Might give you a little smoother idle, (maybe) although my personal belief is idle and spark quality is more related to a good and properly functioning set of wires, not the plug itself. Better quality plugs should perform their job better longer, if you see a change in MPG, it would be coincidental, or just because you waited too long before changing the plugs.

ORIGINAL: HummerGuy I am tempted to buy them just to be the Guinnea Pig that tries them out. considering what a great job the magnets did for you, i think you should buy 10, just in case the first 5 you put in don't do what you want. you should always have backup . . . . . . . . You just had to bring up the magnets to Doc didn't you Now If I ever join him at the Dunes, he'll probably tow my H3 into Lake Michigan just to teach me a lesson.

I read up on your magnets. I hear they are introducing a new fangled Magnetic Spark Plug! We should definitely do the Dunes, with or without magnets? This one almost got us?

What kind of a slope angle are we talking about, or is the sign talking about a straight drop like a ACME anvil?

Pretty flippin steep, but right at the peak caused by wind. They change (evolve) all the time and the signs get moved around. I was a panzy with my kids in the 3, so I stopped at the peak to have a look see before going all the way over. Guess what happend next??? Im sitting on the frame and can't move, threw sand up on the hood, on the roof, and in the windows (remember way back when I told you to close windows when attacking these dunes cuz sand flys everywhere???? My wife did not enjoy the face full of sand!) Couple youngsters in a Jeep with some sweet tires climbed up the back side and with my snatchem strap, gave us a tug and we were good to go. Feels pretty weird to be centered about 80 feet up a dune with the front and rear tires in the air . Driver error. Did the same spot the next day w/o the wife and kids, and stayed in the throttle till completely over the peak, then stopped on the down side. No problems. Then I yanked out a couple youngsters in a Suburban that got burried on the up side to return the favor so to speek. It' all part of it. Man I wish I would have got a couple pics before getting un-hung. Hey, didn't even think about that stinkin onstar!!!! Last summer, this whole ridge wasn't even here.

That place looks huge. I'm assuming since it's sand, if you have a good coat of wax on it, the sand just slides right off?

It really does not stick, unless it is wet. Then after it drys, just kinda blows off. The best part, I have Silver Lake Sand on my driveway after the wash on Monday night!!!! While you are up there, every time you shut a door, some sand will fall out of somewhere, the mirrors, fender well, bumper....it is a beutiful thing. Next spring I'm gonna post an invite on the forum for anybody who wants to make a trip to come join in the fun, July or August. The h3, as heavy as it is, does pretty darn well even with my stock 33" ties at 15psi. Wider would help though. Pcm tune will be cool too. This trip I saw one H2, two H1s, and three 3s. There were other Hummers, mostly 3s, at the motels etc. in the area, but they didn't do the dunes????? Couple young ladys in a white 3, didn't even know you could ride the dunes?? Nobody home. They were like, Hey, whats up with all the flags on the trucks? I'll link some pics this weekend to try and tease the offroad sand juices and get some people thinking in the right direction. Hey, nice work on your machine. Looking good!!
