anybody ever heard of or tried one of these kits? think they work or snake oil? just curious.

I used water injection in all my old cars. It helped compensate for the lack of octane in all my high compression engines. I also lived at a high altitude at the time, so it also made-up for the lack of humidity.

It never really did much on my modern vehicles. I never ran it on anything with fuel injection, or at least anything running OBD.

According to Popular Mechanics they gor 20 fewer horsepower and their mpg dropped about 20% using the Aquatune
