Back to Joe''s original post, I had a teacher start arguing about my H3, about how much gas I was using and blah blah blah, and she was too ignorant to realize I get almost or the same gas mileage as her Saturn SUV. Once I said this she jumped on me for distracting class

My buddy has a Jeep Cherokee Limited and he''s getting worse mileage than my H3!! It''s psycilogical warfare. I just read somewhere that we need 35 trillion dollars to fix the global warming issue!! WTF! How will that stop the earth from being the earth and going thru natural cycles...ice age etc!! Bottom line...they want our money.

Goernment is help hostage by the greenies. We have enough oil to last us 60-80 years off our coast. Cuba is drilling for oil closer than the govt. will let our oil companies drill. WTF

Consider that when you vote in November. Until we tell the eco-terrorists we have had enough and by showing the politicians we out vote them we can expect it to get worse. We are more important than the gnatcatcher.

Wildlife has flourished around Prudhoe Bay destroying the greenies contention that oil recovery is bad for the critters. The greenies won''t let us build nuclear plants, coal fired elec. plants, refineries...they are a minority so we need to vote and write our Congressmen and let them know there are more of us than them.

Don''t be fooled. It is about control. They want the ability to tell us how to live. So far we have allowed that way too much. Time to stop that trend. One way they control us is by taking our money. They spend it on things we would not agree with and we need to stop that too. Vote!!!

We''re being held hostage by our elected officials. Nearly every LNG proposal is defeated by NIMBYs, we can''t drill off our coasts, but the Chinese are drilling for the same resources off the coast of Cuba! There''s plenty of recoverable domestic oil and natural gas but it''s off-limits because of the actions of previous administrations, we can''t even reprocess spent nuclear fuel thanks to Jimmy Carter!

It''s time to start a clean sheet national energy policy, an it will happen when fuel hits $5/gal and even the greenbats start squealing!

Look at our coal resources! We could generate plenty of liquid fuel from our tremendous domestic coal reserves, there''s no shortage of hydrocarbons, just a shortage of political will.
