Question:
If hummer does go out of business, would the value of our hummers increase due to availibility?

If Hummers existed no more, and there was still a big demand for them, our resale values would skyrocket because nobody would be able to find one for sale.

Either way, mine will be payed off next year and I'll own it until it completely dies, gets in an accident or rusts out from old age.  I'm definitely not going to get rid of it by choice, but more by accident if it happens.

Agreed. I don''t care if it becomes a collector''s item or worth nothing. I have no intentions of getting rid of mine.

Hummer is not going anywhere. GM is not going to shut it down and even if they wanted to sell it now is not the time. The will revamp marketing and product line but probably nothing more than that. The H2 has already been declared DOA. Hummers will get smaller and more efficient but they will still be great of road machines and HUMMERS.

I keep waffling.  I can see a tank of gas selling for $100 real soon as the value of my Hummer declines. It worries me.

I''m not worried, fuel is still not that big of a deal, there are no shortages.

Anyone have an H3 V8 they want to sell?

You must have a lot of pocket change.  $80-85 puts a crimp in my wallet.  But then if you don''t drive the Hummer much the gas could be a lesser problem.  I''m currently spending $350 per month on fuel for the Hummer plus fuel for my Dodge Magnum. :(

Costs me $270.00 to fill up the H1 Alpha. I don''t drive that many miles but wouldn''t matter that is a choice I will choose to make.
