Great pics waxman! I'll try to make it next time.

dwaxman1 -> RE: My Dirty Rig... (6/1/2008 8:05:21 PM)

west of Toronto.. near Hamilton, Ontario

Damage was, lost my front license plate (I think in a Mud/water pit but didn;t notice till long after), have no idea how it actually hooked on now and what I will need, also in first photo you can see my rocker bar, I hit a huge rock and dented the crap out of it, and then LOTS of beauty marks! I think those will buff out!

will post more once I get my hands on them... lots were taken.

dwaxman1 -> RE: My Dirty Rig... (6/2/2008 8:28:55 AM)

got new plates, DAMN! also had to get a mounting bracket for front plate at dealer, again DAMN.. but altogether it was only $80

The kicker is I went to a detailer to see about cleaning it up.....$300 for the outside for a Polish and buff, not sure if all scratches will come out but worth the try..... atleast till next time I leave the pavement[;)][;)]

HumminNBoatin -> RE: My Dirty Rig... (6/2/2008 8:37:34 AM)

I got mine equally as muddy over Memorial Day weekend.  3 easy steps can take care of it though

1. Pressure Wash it
2. Mr. Clean Carwash it
3. Polish it your self.

I had a couple new pinstrips on mine when I got done cleaning it. I hit them with a buffer at about 2k RPM and compound and they came out quickly.  However mine is Pewter and buffs out nicely and is very forgiving.  Black is the most unforgiving color that you will find when it comes to polishing.
