I had a couple new pinstrips on mine when I got done cleaning it. I hit them with a buffer at about 2k RPM and compound and they came out quickly. However mine is Pewter and buffs out nicely and is very forgiving. Black is the most unforgiving color that you will find when it comes to polishing.
I think that will be 100% true, Black shows it all!!!

My black H2 taught me never to get a black off road vehicle unless you don't care at all what it looks like. Black is a PIA to keep clean under normal conditions. Scratches that will disappear with other colors are memories for a lifetime in black. Drive your scratched up H2 with pride...people will be able to tell it didn't happen at the mall.

Yep, Just hosed her down and there are some sweet pin strips now.......
LIfe is good in a HUmmer and if you get a Hummer in a Hummer.....DAMN!!

He going into some water....it ate my front license plate!!
here I go down the steep hill!!
And one more hill.....
Here is one of the H1s that hammered thishill... he did make it over, it was sweet!!
