I did find out that you can get a GM warranty if your hummer is out of warranty. It has to pass an inspection through a certified hummer dealer first.....then you can purchase the extended warranty of your choice.

It's food for thought, and anyone else that's looking at an older hummer, it's good to know!

I thought I had been offered warranty coverage after mine had expired but thought maybe they didn't do that anymore.

Once adding that warranty that would have probably put you over the $7 payment saved as well. Like others said I would keep your Alpha, the color is great and it has every option you wanted. Plus if you plan on doing off-roading and something does go wrong it's nice to know it's covered.

I have a H3 and have drove the H2 and would not change, I'd keep my H3 ...H2's are not as flexiable driving as the H3....H3 I think has better performance offroading and gas mileage is better.....I would keep the H3.....they can zip around on a dime....

lol your making a mistake, i would stay with the 3 you have a V8 already.

Rausch Creek event is $250 per person, plus your annual Hummer Inc fee(I think it's $65 now?), and Hotel, gas etc. I'll be there.

Good Luck SolarFlare. You will love the H2 if you go that direction and if you stand pat...well You seem pretty happy with your H3 Alpha too. Not many choices in life have all good endings.

Yeah I thought it was better to wash my hands of the deal....and start over again.....I didn't want to have anything to do with Pape Hummer anymore.....so hopefully this will be a new beginning!
