Not being an ass or anything but he posted that after i had already posted. And i said most, not everybody.
I just moved here from Va so I'd rather ask then have to find out the hard way.
The reason I said that though is that alot of my friends and family automatically assume it's an H2 as soon as i say the word Hummer until they actually see it.
Also, this link here to a topic on these forums is also why i asked.

Hopefully I'll see some of you around though!!

We all run into a few here and there. Goes in spurts. I live in an area filled with pompous, arrogant, know it all laid back save the whale back to nature types but very few people want to mess with someone driving an H1 with DU, QU and NRA Patron decals on their car. Probably think I am too radical and redneck to risk upsetting. Works for me.

A lot of people I know don't know the difference between the 2 & 3. It doesn't make it any better that I have the 35's and 4" lift making it just about the same height.

You are right. A lot of people just think a Hummer is a Hummer and either just don't or don't know enough to differentiate between the models.

Ha! When I bought the hummer this Monday, the first mod I did was stick my POW sticker in the back and NRA stiker in the front. I live in Emeryville. On the border of Berkeley, I shop in Bek. because I dont want issues in Oakland. No problems yet. Black H3, Offroad suspension so a little tougher looking, Military sticker and a sticker that says "I will shoot you little bekeleyite, I WILL...shoot you" Works for me!

Hippies are a great renewable resource.  They''re kind of hard to light, but once you get them going............

That is sad... We fight so hard so they can enjoy their life... The hell with them.
