Hello to all! I am new to the world of "Hummer Ownership". Just bought a 2003 H2. Every accessory out there, but the computer was never corrected for the lift and tires. It has an 8" Pro Comp lift w/ 40" Nitto Mud Grappler tires. By my calculations, going by GPS vs. Dash milage on my drive from Denver, CO to Detroit, MI area (yes, flew 1,200 miles to buy this and drive it home!) the truck is 12% off on speed and milage. I want to put a chip or programmer on this to up the economy/performance, but have LIMITED experience in this subject. My 2002 Chevy 2500 HD has the same 6.0L motor, and I have the HyperTech MAX Engery on that, but haven't messed with it beyond adjusting tire size.
Does anyone have a lifted H2 with a programmer on it? Any suggestions on brand? Looking for a touch better on the MPG (I am realistic in knowing that I cannot squeeze 20 MPG out of the 40" tire combo) and a little better performance. Any info would be appreciated!
