"You probably haven't heard much about it because the government doesn't want you to know. Since 1990, the idea was crushed over and over again by our Government and giant Oil Companies."

 That must be the reason...

Anything that works. Talked to a guy yesterday that said by having someone install a 2wd/4wd transfer case his H1 mileage went from 11.5 to 17. At 4.89/gallon the payback on that isn't that long. If you drive 11-12K per year the payback is in two years. Lots of people drive that in one year. Once I am out of warranty I think I might look into that.

Dear dwaxman1,

10/22/04: General Motors has delivered a hydrogen powered HUMMER to the California Governor's office. The H2H is a HUMMER H2 that was re-engineered to operate on gaseous hydrogen fuel. Its main tailpipe emission is water vapor.
The H2H uses a supercharged version of the truck's original Vortec 6000 (6.0-liter V-8) internal combustion engine. Don't look for a similar version to show up in your area, because it's not a production vehicle.

HUMMER hopes to use the H2H to bring attention to hydrogen's potential, and the public and private partnerships that will be required to create a hydrogen economy.
http://trucks.about.com/od/hybridcar/a/hummer_h2h.htm
Hope this helps if you have any other questions please ask.

here is the latest response from Buddy on ebay

Dear dwaxman1,

Hello I have never installed this item on a hummer. But these have been installed on all makes of automobile and are guaranteed to:
Drastic increase in engine horsepower
Extreme gas mileage increase
Decrease the effects of global warming
IRS Tax Deduction
thanks for your question

- kw45640

Of course my response was not as Nice back to this one.... Here is my response

Dear kw45640,

How about any 6.0L GM Vortec engine??
P.s. I live in Canada, therefore IRS means nothing to me and Canadian gets no benefits like that, I am looking for real answers, not cut and paste canned responses, especially if we are thinking about purchasing a $1000 item from you.

- dwaxman1

and his response to that was.......

Dear dwaxman1,

Hello I have one of these installed on my 01 montecarlo ss. I couldnt believe the difference in GAS MILEAGE. This item has paid for itself and Before I was getting 21 mpg, now 38 mpg on a 3800V6. As for a hummer I dont own one. The hydrogen fuel cell will work on any automobile. If its gas mileage you want to improve this is it. Reguardless of engine size.

- kw45640

So again I say.....

Dear kw45640,

Understood but I wanted to know about a 6.0L v8 Vortec engine, thanks but I believe I will pass until you have some others that have installed this first, I do not want to be the first on a Hummer.

- dwaxman1

Just thought I would keep you guys updated...

BS deal. If you want to get screwed out of $1000.00 just send it to me. That's over 200 gallons of gas so that is your savings.
