The original thread seems to have been lost when the site had problems so I have reposted.

My wife Wendy and I took the H3 to Double Island which is 1.5 hours north of Brisbane to test out the drawer system.

The drawer sytem cooker in action. Notice the giant fish fillets. The big one obviously got away!

Nice pictures of a beautiful coast line...The best part is no traffic. Here is a picture of Pismo Beach here in California, check out the traffic. And this is early in the morning.

Hi Guys,

SteveO I am going to do a couple of mods this weekend and will post a thread next week.

Skippy it is a double and just so comfortable. The outside got pretty wet in the storm but the side was dry as. I have had single swags for years and we have had a double for about 3 years but this is a new one and was the first test in a real storm..came through with flying colours.

ozHummer we were camped well north of Teewah as there is no camping on the beach at Teewah. The Teewah rocks have covered again as apparently they got uncovered a fair bit in the Xmas storms and were very hazzardous at high tide. Part of the wreck of the Cherry Venture were also exposed and had to be carted away as well. Our kids grew up climbing over the wreck. It seems really strange when we go there now and there is nothing but a storyboard.

That makes me want to go camping!!!  I almost freaked out when I saw that curling iron hanging form your rig!!!!   But then noticed it was a light stick.  Shewwww....  Do you ever notice after a trip that your Hummer smells like bacon after a long weekend of cooking?  I looked into that type of setup before but was afraid of the smoke and oils that would be introduced into the back of the car.  I like your shirt too and have to go and get one for myself.

Hi spusoccer,

It is basically the next section of beach if you were standing on the beach at Noosa and looking north..there it is.

From Noosa you go to Tewantin, take the ferry across the river and then follow the road down onto the beach and keep driving until you reach the camping allowed sign..pick a spot, crack a beer and she is all over red rover.

Cheers
