Hi Fourney, MTZ's went really well. I dropped them to 18 and got through no worries. The main beach is hard sand with sections of chopped up soft stuff but not of any length. The beach entry/exits of course are always very deep soft sand. The exit was about 20 yards like that and I went out in 4WD High in second. The turbo is actually very good in those situations where you need some extra torque. I started to run out of legs but put the foot down and you could feel it just push through. I think the main thing is if you do stop or get bogged down, don't wheel spin as the MTZ's will bury you pretty quickly then!
