I have seen a lot of Trucks with window stickers that say H2 Recovery Team on them, some jeeps and one or two H2s but mostly jeeps, FJs and other crap, is this a jab at us or are they just screwed??

It is a jab. Last one I saw was on an H2 this past weekend. I don't think he had a clue.

I'd like a decal that says "The only place for a Jeep is on the trailer my H2 can pull" Don't get me wrong, Jeeps are good for trails, short wheelbase and light but they still lack power and comfort. I had a YJ and I just got rid of a Grand Cherokee (2wd though). Here's 2 pics of my past vehicles. The Durango was great in the mud but rubbed pretty bad with 35's and 8.5" lift on trails. The F250 was too heavy and the wheelbase was too far apart to do any sand wheeling and it sank in the mud like a brick.

I've never cared much for the whole "Recovery Vehicle" stickers. If I'm stuck or disabled, I'll take help from anyone driving any brand. Everyone is so focused on trying to make Hummer look bad. I don't know how many uninformed people I've had try to tell me that the H2 is just a different body on a Tahoe chassis or a H3 is just a Chevy Colorado. I've been wheeling in ORV parks were Jeeps and other 4x4s are breaking down and getting stuck all the time. Yet the only thing anyone seems to remember is when a Hummer breaks down or gets stuck. It somehow makes them feel better to know that Hummers break down and get stuck too.

Most vehicles getting stuck are the result of the driving done by the operator. Most drivers that know what they are doing can wheel anything. Those that can't can get stuck in anything. Anyone pushing the limits will get stuck or break something no matter what they drive. I wheel wheel a couple of Jeepers from across the street some and there is no brand envy. It is just having fun off road.

I thought that sticker meant that the H2 it was on was used to recover some one stranded, hurt, or other wise where another 4x4 could not go. So seen it in a positive way. I didn't know it was a slam. I like this decal better for an H2 though. (seen it on Ebay)

The meaning behind the sticker "H2 Recovery Team" basically means that the people who have that sticker on their vehicle are members of a team of wanna be losers who always got stuck off roading with other H2's. They didnt want to face the fact that they got their ass beat and humiliated while the people in H2's traveled through without any problems. So thus they are a team of people who go to meetings like AA and NA to help them get over their depression.

Good answer? :)
