Circumstance… Heading to the shopping center today and parking lot was pretty full. Five cars in front of me were waiting to turn in. I didn’t feel like waiting, so I hopped the curb, drove up the median, into the lot, found a spot and parked it. Some guy walking next to my parking space waved me down, saying… Guy- “That your hummer?” Me - “Ya” Guy- “Nice. V6?” Me- “No, its an Alpha, V8” Guy- “Sounded like a V8. Was that TNT?” Me- “Ya, love that song.” Guy- “Well, with your truck looking the way it does and entering the parking lot like that with AC/DC playing… I would say that rig has a serious f---ing attitude problem.” Me- (smiling) “Ya and I’m strangely ok with that” Guy- “Good to hear! Cya later.” Me- “Take care.” He then gets in his F-150 and proceeds to exit the parking lot the same way I entered. Could have sworn I heard Great White cranked up. That Ford guy is ok in my book! And no pink shirt either, so no need to call in BFT officer.

Interesting. Things have been pretty quiet lately. Nobody has messed with me in awhile. Sounds like a fun run in.

Amusing story... My wife would have stood there and talked to the dude for a half an hour, LOL I've had only positive comments so far about our H2, (besides them asking, "Doesn't it eat a lot of gas?" ) I'm sure somewhere down the line I'll be hearing it from some eco maniac. I look forward to that day... lol

I do love happy endings. My wife would have kicked my azz for hopping the curb.

Yes..happy endings are great.. Here's a story.. Took my mom ( 79 ) with me the other day to Kmart..and parked in the handicap space ( she uses a wheel chair ) anyway got out of my truck to be approached by a guy yelling at me..saying..like you really need a f...ing handicap space..I told him I had my mother with me which she uses a wheel chair and he said...I don't give a f...k if she does need one..if you can drive a f...ing Hummer and she can be in a Hummer..you need to park some where else..needlless to say I told him get the hell out of my face or you will be sorry...he left..we went into the store..was in there about an hour..came back out to find him talking to someone in the parking lot..about me still parked there...What has this world come to.

I had a similar experience... I picked up my friend from double hernia surgery and dropped off his prescriptions... but they told me he would have to sign when we came back... because of the painkillers and the Military insurance, etc.... SO When I came back I parked in one of 4 empty expectant mother/ mothers with infants spots at the CVS... not the handicapped spots... which were also empty... and let him hobble in and helped him.... I came out and just helped him back in the truck when this chick came from the other side and unloaded on me.... then about 30 seconds into her telling me what a no good asshole I was... she looked into my jacket and saw my shoulder holster....(which was empty) the conversation ended there, she walked away, and I laughed the rest of the way home...

Priceless way to go........I also park in these parking spots at CVS also, what I understand they do not stand up to getting a ticket as the handicap area does. This is something that the store offers. I am also tired when I get off work, same rights to all!!!!!!!

My wife would think it was a blast if I hopped the curb to get into a place. I have hopped curbs and medians a time or two rather than wait but no one has ever said anything to me.

Coming back from camping on teh Anzac Weekend the freeway back into Brisbane was a parking lot so we went cross country to a forestry track that runs offroad alongside the freeway. Picked up a lot of time and got some surprised and some very pissed reactions!
