Just got my 03 H2 and it's in great condition. The black plastic all around is in good shape, and still has it's color. My question is, what do you folks use on yours to help preserve it? Or, do you not use anything at all?
I have already read in the manual that silicone grease will preserve the rubber weather seals on the doors and such, and I have squared them away. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance for any input.

There is an extensive thread on this in the Detailing section. I haven't had my H2 for awhile now and don't remember what I used to use. There were several very good products. One was made by Mequiar's. I have some in the garage. I'll look tonight and post it. There is another product that I found that was outstanding and lasted longer than the Mequiar's but I can't remember the name. I'll post that later also.

Thanks for the info 3Hummers, I'll look in the detailing section. And check back on the names of those products.

Thanks,

Dutch

Hi 3hummers, where did you get your Vinylex at, never seen it here...........

I have used several, Id like to find on that does not collect dirt......on the Wheels/tires

It looks great for a few weeks or so, then it rains here and it washes some of the shine off and Then the gray look slowly appears........and time to do it again.......

I use a Product from KEMCO Indrustries,(Shine-on) works best so far...........100% sillacone spray, comes in gallon jug....

I sprayed that NO-TOUCH stuff for the tires on the trim and it actually lasted for a while.
