This may sound elementary but I need some help. I had my belt changed on my 1997 h1 and now it wont stop making a high pitched sound that is very annoying. I wrote it off initially as the new belt adjusting but it hasn't gone away. Actually it keeps getting worse. Any ideas on what it may be. Pulleys, new belt??? I have no idea. Also, my driver's side power window works fine until I let it down all the way...when I go to put the window up the switch wont work unless I open the driver's side door. Small but aggravating problems. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the pulleys for your serpentine belt may not be properly aligned. Even a small mis-alignment can cause an issue. I am not a big fan of belt dressing but you may try it and see if it has any impact on the noise.
Window/door lock problems are usually caused by the actuator but yours sounds like it could also be a short
