Have you ever actually tried to drive with them? It isn't fun, you're not going to see much past your bumper and we are taught not to drive much faster than idle speed while using them. Cool find though.

Black out drive lights work best when used in conjunction with Night Vision Devices (NVD). They basically illuminate just the ground in front of the vehicle. I've driven down dirt roads at about 40 MPH using black out drive and NVG's. It scares the crap out of your passengers who don't have NVD's.
